Shinrin Yoku Hong Kong is a pioneer in advocating for nature and wellbeing in Hong Kong by promoting the practices of Forest Bathing and Relational Nature Therapy.

We introduced the now popular practice of Shinrin Yoku, also known as Forest Bathing, to Hong Kong in 2017 and has continued to contribute towards elevating this practice to a widely known holistic wellbeing modality.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw a surge in the need for a simple and powerful tool for the public to manage mental health and emotional wellbeing, and our effort to promote spending time in nature as a self-care and self-development practice has benefited many.

Apart from offering regular open-to-all Forest Bathing and Nature Therapy sessions, we collaborate with numerous cross-sector organisations to bring the healing benefits of being in nature to a wider audience.

We work extensively with the corporate sector, NGOs, universities and other educational institutions. To date, we have offered over 500 guided Forest Bathing experiences, Nature Therapy sessions, workshops and talks in Hong Kong and overseas.

We also provide customised training programs to organisations who are interested in bringing Forest Bathing and Nature Therapy into their service porfolio.

Our core services include:

+ Curating and delivering Forest Bathing and nature connection experiences for corporate team building and private groups

+ Designing and running educational programs including multi-week short courses on Relational Forest Therapy

+ Providing student support programs and guest lectures to educational institutions including universities and schools

+ Supporting academic research on nature-based interventions for enhancing human health and wellbeing through consultations and collaboration
